SAP and OPTIMAL SYSTEMS: Successful AchiveLink® certification

OPTIMAL SYSTEMS has successfully completed certification for the SAP ArchiveLink® and thereby continues to offer extensive SAP support.

ArchiveLink®: Access to your Documents

ArchiveLink® is used for linking archived documents and the application documents entered in the SAP system. It is integrated in the SAP Web Application Server. The interface acts as a permanent connection between SAP and the archive storage – which is vital for audit-proof archiving and other applications.

Certified for the Cloud Future

The products of OPTIMAL SYSTEMS have been continuously supporting SAP ArchiveLink®. The certified archive interface for data exchange with SAP applications is the repository manager. Documents, e-mails, printing lists etc. can be captured externally in the ECM and displayed directly in SAP. It is ensured that ECM documents are automatically linked to the appropriate business object in SAP. The generic object services are used to display the documents integrated in the leading application. The user therefore does not have to switch between two or more applications.

As of August 8, 2024, our repository manager 5 is officially certified for integration with S/4HANA and ArchiveLink®. This continues the strong relationship between SAP and OPTIMAL SYSTEMS products, which also includes certified interfaces to CMIS and ILM.
