IMG (Investitions- und Marketinggesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH) is the settlement and marketing agency of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, which has been advertising with the slogan “We rise earlier” since 2005. IMG’s employees offer a full range of services relating to the settlement of companies – from location search to investment consulting, authority management and project management. IMG has 31 employees. The company is headquartered in Magdeburg. The sole shareholder of IMG is the state of Saxony-Anhalt.

IMG uses digital archiving and electronic document management with the ECM suite from OPTIMAL SYSTEMS. The aim is to further enhance the effectiveness of the acquisition process and project processing as well as to expand the possibilities for project controlling. The implementation of the Enterprise Content Management Suite included the mapping of an electronic project file with investor and location data and the conversion to a digital management of acquisition campaigns for settlement and investment projects.

“Our goal was to professionalize relations with domestic and foreign investors with a CRM system and at the same time to create an audit-proof, digital and central filing system,” says Dr. Carlhans Uhle, Managing Director of IMG. “The multi-level security concept for the user groups from the various departments plays a major role here,” adds Jan Seyfarth, Managing Director of Jenaer Vertriebsgesellschaft.
