Accelerated processes and digital files at EDEKA

With a total of 73,000 employees and around 1,488 retail locations, EDEKA Minden-Hannover is the largest of the regional EDEKA trading companies. The company relies on ECM software from OPTIMAL SYSTEMS to optimize access to documents and information throughout the company, thus creating new opportunities for access to company knowledge.

In the first stage of the project, a solution for filing, controlling and managing QA reports was introduced in the form of the digital customer file, which resulted in a sustained acceleration of information processing. Collaboration and processes with suppliers were also accelerated – thanks to the digital supplier file.
