Due to the many different locations, complex processes and long processing times used to be the norm in everyday business. This made it more difficult to deal with payment terms and invoice processing. In order to optimize the processes, a central document management system for automated invoice processing was to be introduced. The main goal was to improve the processes and also to minimize the amount of paper in the administration.
