Expansion of Digital Administration

Südwestfalen IT, based in Siegen, has been providing IT services for local authorities in the districts of Siegen-Wittgenstein and Olpe for over 40 years. 18 cities and municipalities as well as the two administrative districts are supported by the data centre. With the introduction of enaio®, Südwestfalen IT is creating a central basic system to advance the digitalization of administrative processes and e-government.

OPTIMAL SYSTEMS convinced with its extensive industry experience, the mature functionality of the enaio® software and the multitude of interfaces. The latter enable a smooth integration of the software into the existing IT infrastructure – e. g. the connection to the specialist procedures ProBauG, OK.Vorfahrt, Infoma/Newsystem® Kommunal and Loga is planned, among others. enaio® is centrally hosted by Südwestfalen IT, the connected administrations access enaio® as independent clients.

The introduction of the software is divided into several subprojects.  The focus is on the introduction of electronic file management including release processes in various areas, e.g. the order file with MS Office & Outlook integration and electronic files in the real estate area. Initially, enaio® will be made available for 103 users in a total of seven municipal administrations. Following the successful implementation of the first projects, further expansion is planned – a comprehensive final expansion to up to 4,000 users will then be targeted.
