    OPTIMAL SYSTEMS is founded in Berlin. It’s a spin off of the Berlin Space Institute (WIB).

    First development project for Mercedes-Benz.

    From project to product – the archive system goes live.

    Constance: The first sales company serves customers in Baden-Württemberg.

  • 1996
    The Hanover location comple­ments our expertise in eGovern­ment throughout Germany.

    Another distributions company focuses on healthcare solutions.

  • 1998
    From now on, OPTIMAL SYSTEMS is an official SAP partner.

  • 1998
    The archive is extended by comprehensive document management (DMS).

  • 2002
    The turnover exceeds 10 million Euro for the first time.

  • 2003
    From now on, the software unites both Archive & DMS and its own workflow engine.

  • 2005
    Additional functions turn our software into an enterprise-wide Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system.

    Founding in Bielefeld: this sales company specializes in pharmaceutical, chemical and life sciences.

  • 2006
    OPTIMAL SYSTEMS is and remains an active Microsoft Gold Partner.

    The sales company Munich strengthens our business in Bavaria from now on.

  • 2008
    Certificates and analyzes attest to high performance and customer satisfaction.

    Stuttgart / Ludwigsburg: Expansion of customer service in northern Baden-Württemberg, southern Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate.

    OPTIMAL SYSTEMS is audited – the software is FDA & GxP compliant and SQM certified.

    App with it: mobile solutions enable document management from anywhere.

    In 2011, with sales companies in Austria and Switzerland, we fulfill regional wishes.

    A new location in Jena specializes in authorities and organizations with security tasks.

    In 2011, the newly created SAP Competence Center in Leipzig reinforces our solution know-how.

    For the first time we are over 300 employees in the OPTIMAL SYSTEMS Group.

    Hamburg: a new company strengthens business in the north.

  • 2013
    Company-wide information management has a new name: enaio®.

  • 2014
    Foundation of the Dortmund branch.

  • 2015
    The future begins: enaio® redline (yuuvis® today) goes live as a new content services framework for solution developers.

  • 2016
    25 years of software development – without words. Except: thanks to all.

  • 2017
    With sales of EUR 52.7 million, the group reaches its first long-term goal for the first time.

  • 2018
    Location No. 15: the Belgrade office reflects the continuous growth.

  • 2019
    Location No. 16: the Frankfurt office serves industrial customers in the Rhine-Main region.

  • 2020
    In spring 2020, OPTIMAL SYSTEMS has become a part of Kyocera. This means: new markets, new partners. And furthermore, innovative software as well as reliable support.

  • 2021
    OPTIMAL SYSTEMS has received awards repeatedly. This year, two special ones were added: the German Innovation Award and the eGovernment Computing Award in the highest category “Platinum”.
