According to the study, 26% of doctors spend more than three hours of each working day on administrative activities.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gesundheitsbranche-ist-uberlastet\">Healthcare sector is overloaded<\/h2>\n<div  class=\"row_wrap\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns row_xxl is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column col-12 col-sm-8 is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"gs_tS7qjz\">In surveys of its members, the Marburger Bund regularly evaluates the working conditions of doctors in Germany. 6,172 doctors were interviewed for the current study. The results are clear \u2013 administrative activities take up a substantial portion of daily work, which should really be dedicated to treating patients. Two thirds of respondents say that there is not enough time for patients. Another figure is also highly interesting: When asked about reducing bureaucracy, 44% say that this topic is \u201cvery important\u201d, and 26% even consider it \u201cmost important.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column col-12 col-sm-auto is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MB-Monitor 2017: Zu viel B\u00fcrokratie raubt \u00c4rzten Zeit f\u00fcr ihre Patienten\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eu2nVkMoc1I?feature=oembed&enablejsapi=1&origin=https:\/\/www.optimal-systems.de\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading gs_eNhk10\" id=\"h-das-krankenhaus-4-0-ist-mancherorts-schon-realitat\">\u201cHospital 4.0\u201d already a reality in some places<\/h2>\n\n<p>However, the fact that doctors suffer from too much administrative work is not a new finding. But solutions are available \u2013 if you know how to implement them. In addition to well-trained administrative staff, digital information management systems can relieve hospitals and rehabilitation clinics of paperwork. ECM for hospitals offers solutions for digital patient records, discharge reports as per Section 301 of Book V of the German Social Security Code (SGB V), or audit-proof archiving of digital hospital records.<\/p>\n\n<p>Numerous hospitals in Germany \u2013 such as the Uniklinikum in Frankfurt, the UKSH or the ViDia-Kliniken in Karlsruhe \u2013 have for a long time used enaio\u00ae for document management and benefit from efficient administration, which ultimately benefits everyone: doctors, administrators, and patients.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The German physicians\u2019 union Marburger Bund recently conducted a study on the workload of medical practitioners.
