Kyocera-Management visits OPTIMAL SYSTEMS in Berlin

In early 2020, OPTIMAL SYSTEMS will become a part of Kyocera. This means that new markets and new partners will be added. However, with all new developments there is one constant: OPTIMAL SYSTEMS remains OPTIMAL SYSTEMS. We will continue to produce, maintain and continuously improve our reliable and trusted software enaio® with great care. And our users will be able to rely on our service and support as usual.

Our most important resource: long-established structures

Kyocera’s management firmly relies on the structures of development and service made in Berlin which have grown over decades – on employees whose experience has grown together with enaio® and who identify with OPTIMAL SYSTEMS. It is exactly these established structures which make the Berlin-based company so attractive for the global player from Japan.

In order to discuss the relations between the two companies, top representatives of Kyocera visited OPTIMAL SYSTEMS’ headquarters – first and foremost Norihiko Ina, president of Kyocera Document Solutions, Inc. In a detailed presentation, he explained the company’s strategy: Where do we stand, where do we want to go?

We will remain autonomous

Karsten Renz, current and future CEO of OPTIMAL SYSTEMS, emphasized the opportunities offered to both companies and underlined the agreement on the independence of OPTIMAL SYSTEMS:

„OPTIMAL SYSTEMS, more than almost any other ECM software manufacturer, has proven expertise over the years which we have developed and expanded together with our customers in various market segments. Kyocera has made strategic investments in OPTIMAL SYSTEMS because OPTIMAL SYSTEMS’ strategy, portfolio and future plan are attractive. We have a customer-oriented support structure, highly qualified employees and an excellent reputation. Moreover, OPTIMAL SYSTEMS lives a convincing vision which goes beyond ECM and is geared towards the content management processes of the next decade.

As a proven ECM specialist, OPTIMAL SYSTEMS will remain absolutely autonomous and operate with the same strategy and identical services as before. Kyocera offers us sales synergies for international growth.”
